Your privacy matters to us. This app is designed to work almost entirely on your device. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads or use ad tracking. This policy explains what the app accesses and why.
Location
The app uses your device location only to calculate accurate prayer times, determine the Qibla direction to the Kaaba, and find nearby mosques. Location is processed on your device — we do not store your location on any server or track your movements.
Camera
The Qibla AR feature requests camera access to overlay the direction of the Kaaba onto the live camera view. The camera feed is used only for this real-time overlay and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Notifications
If you enable adhan / prayer-time alerts, the app schedules local notifications on your device. You control these anytime in the app settings. No push server is involved.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (without advertising identifier / IDFA) to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — for example how many people open a screen — so we can improve the app. This data is not tied to your identity, is not used for advertising, and involves no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
No Ads
The app contains no advertisements and no ad networks. Optional in-app purchases (handled by Apple) unlock premium features and support development.
Third-Party Services
• Apple Maps (MapKit) — nearby mosques & map.
• Apple App Store — in-app purchases (payment handled by Apple).
• Google Firebase (Analytics, no IDFA) — anonymous usage statistics.
• YouTube — optional live streams from Makkah & Madinah.
Data Storage
Your settings, reading history and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain accounts and have no access to your personal data.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children and is safe for all ages.
Changes
We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
